    API Keys

    API keys allow external applications to access your Brand Kit OS data securely.

    Creating an API Key

    1. Navigate to Settings → API Keys
    2. Click "Create API Key"
    3. Enter a descriptive name
    4. Copy the key immediately - it's only shown once

    Security Best Practices

    • Use descriptive names to identify keys by their purpose
    • Never share API keys with others
    • Revoke unused keys immediately
    • Rotate keys periodically for enhanced security

    Rate Limits

    API keys are subject to rate limits based on your subscription plan:

    • Base: 100 requests/minute
    • Premium: 500 requests/minute
