Templates Reference
All available knowledge file templates you can add to your brand kit. Templates are organized into two categories: auto-generated (created from your existing brand kit data) and curated (pre-built frameworks you can customize).
🤖 Auto-Generated Templates
These templates are dynamically generated from the data you've already entered in your brand kit. They pull from your core, personality, expression, audience, and product sections to create ready-to-use reference documents.
| Template | Reference Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Brand Story Document | brand-story-document |
A complete brand narrative woven from your mission, vision, brand story, and personality data. Gives AI full context on who you are and why you exist. |
| Brand Style Guide | brand-style-guide |
Visual and verbal style guidelines compiled from your expression settings — tone of voice, verbal style, preferred terminology, and visual style preferences. |
| Product Catalog | product-catalog |
A structured catalog of all your products and services, including descriptions, pricing, key benefits, USPs, and competitive differentiation. |
| Target Audience Profiles | target-audience-profiles |
Detailed persona profiles built from your audience data — demographics, motivations, pain points, preferred channels, and buying behavior. |
How Auto-Generated Templates Work
- Navigate to Knowledge Files in your brand kit
- Click Add Template
- Select an auto-generated template
- The system pulls your existing brand kit data and generates a formatted document
- The template updates whenever you regenerate it with new data
Tip: Fill in as much of your brand kit as possible before generating these templates — the more data available, the richer the output.
📚 Curated Templates
These are pre-built frameworks designed by brand strategists. They provide structured guidance that you can customize for your specific brand needs.
| Template | Reference Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Anti-AI Patterns: Language Guide | anti-ai-patterns-language-guide |
A comprehensive list of words, phrases, and patterns that make AI-generated content sound robotic. Use this to train AI to write more naturally in your brand's voice. |
| Bias and Ethics Audit Framework | bias-ethics-audit-framework |
A structured framework for testing AI outputs against synthetic personas representing diverse audiences. Helps ensure your AI-generated content is inclusive and ethical. |
| Brand Voice Consistency Checklist | brand-voice-consistency-checklist |
A scoring rubric to evaluate whether content matches your brand personality, tone, and expression guidelines. Use it as a quality gate for AI outputs. |
| Negative Governance Dictionary | negative-governance-dictionary |
A categorized list of banned keywords, phrases, and anti-patterns. Feeds directly into your governance rules to prevent off-brand content. |
How Curated Templates Work
- Navigate to Knowledge Files in your brand kit
- Click Add Template
- Select a curated template
- Review the pre-filled content and customize it for your brand
- Save it as a knowledge file attached to your brand kit
Tip: Curated templates work best when paired with your governance settings. For example, add the Negative Governance Dictionary template and reference it in your Governance section for maximum control.
Using Templates in Exports
When you export your brand kit (to ChatGPT, Claude, or Markdown), any knowledge files — including templates — that are marked as included in export will be bundled into the final output. This gives your AI assistant access to all the structured knowledge you've built.
To include or exclude a template from exports:
- Go to Knowledge Files
- Toggle the Include in Export switch on each file
Reference Names in AI Prompts
Each template has a reference name that you can use when talking to AI assistants configured with your brand kit. For example:
"Refer to the brand-voice-consistency-checklist when reviewing this draft."
This helps the AI locate and apply the right template from your knowledge files.
